Mothercare Collaborates with Julien Macdonald
It’s
always a breath of fresh air when two brands collaborate, especially when it
comes to Julien Macdonald. Mothercare have announced an exclusive collaboration
with renowned British fashion design, Julien Macdonald OBE.
The
line with be called Smile by Julien Macdonald, a new born clothing collection
aimed at babies and young children aged 0-2 years – who said fashion had a
minimum age!? The line will be launched in 70 stores in the UK as well as
Mothercare’s Middle Eastern Stores.
The
day wear jersey collection features animal and quirky character prints as well
as playful slogans. For the party goers, the collection will feature some of
Julien’s attention to detail. The collection is a unique mix of high quality
and affordable pieces with a soft, premium look and feel that reflects Julien’s
creative vision.
On
the collection, Julien comments, “I have such a passion for the design of
children’s clothes so to collaborate with Mothercare is very exciting. My
designs combine both luxurious fabrics with delicate detailing as well as some
gorgeous characters to make children smile. The collection features classic
new-born pieces, sprinkled with unique touches and playful attention to detail.

Prices
range from £10 up to £50 and will be available from 20th April
